SeaGauge™ Sensor Interface Units support high temperature Exhaust Gas and Cylinder Head measurements using K-Type probes. High temperature probes produce a very small differential voltage based on temperatures up to 2000F by use of specialized wire pairs. This small voltage must be amplified and conditioned before accurate measurements can be made. All SeaGauge Sensor Interface Units include the option for directly connecting up to two K-Type probes via built-in thermocouple amplifiers.
K-Type probes must be installed using matching K-Type extension wire. Some common senders available are listed with associated calibration tables.
