Firmware Update via USB port
This update provides support for SeaSmartG3 WIFI Gateways with NMEA 2000 interfaces.
New Supported Functions
- Improved SD Data Logging
- Improved Cache of Upload to HelmSmart via WIF or Cellular networks
- Improved network reconnect when ethernet/station are unavailable
- Improved HelmSmart store and forward on slow networks.
- Improved web browser pages for instrument dashboards
This update contains one seasmartg3_1_1_3_9_11.bin and windows 11/10 utility to update via USB port
The complete update requires the following steps.
1) Unzip download to local windows directory
2) Connect SeaGaugeG4 with supplied USB cable to Windows OS 11/10
3) Launch the flash_download_tool_3.9.3.exe tool
4) Select ESP32 for DOWNLOAD MODE
5) Choose the download file and set the default address to 0
6) Choose the correct COM port and set baud to 115200
7) ERASE the existing firmware and spiffs partitions
8) START to upload new firmware
9) Reboot device to complete update
10) Reconnect to SeaGaugeG4 WFI using AP mode
