This Firmware update provides Beta support for HALTECH ELITE ECM CAN bus protocol v2.0

Elite ECM must be loaded with firmware to support CAN Bus Speeds of 250 kbs.

This update provides support for SeaSmart WIFI Gateways with NMEA 2000 interfaces.

The complete update requires 3 steps.

1)     Update SeaSmart WIFI Firmware on gateway using USB and Windows PC Utility Firmware Downloader v0.91

2)     Update NMEA 2000/CAN Bus interface using Windows OS vDash app

3)     Update the Gateway Web Site content package using the supplied .bin file.

Once all 3 updates are complete, HALTECH ELITE CAN Bus messages can be read by SeaSmart WIFI Gateways and translated into NMEA 2000 messages on the same bus.

Additionally, the SeaSmart Web Browser interface will also display ELITE CAN Bus messages and forward all messages to the HelmSmart cloud service for storage and dashboarding.

Local data logging to SD Memory card will also be available for ELITE CAN Bus messages which can then uploaded to the HelmSmart cloud service.

PGN 127505 – Fuel Level
